The Wicked Griffin Policies

By making a purchase from The Wicked Griffin means you understand and agree to these polices.

ORDER TIMELINE

Current production time 4-8 week *minimum* but may be shorter or longer

*Minor update as of June 2019 to February 2020: I am currently 8 months pregnant and this has slowed my production time.

If you placed an order during the 2019 Black Friday sale and are still awaiting it, rest assured it is being worked on as quickly as possible. Well over 350 orders were placed in a 48 hour period and I am still getting caught up and all orders placed during that time should be shipping soon.

The Wicked Griffin handcrafts all items to order, in the order received. This production time is part of my shop policies and you check a box during checkout stating you understand and agree. If you do not, please do not place an order.

These timeframes are estimates only and may change without notice based on the below factors

– Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email

– One of a kind items are ready to ship and will ship within one business day unless you purchase other items which are made to order

– How many orders are currently in my queue (this is usually a lot when I have a sale or new collection launch and may extend processing time – especially during the months of November to January)

– How large and or complex each order is in my queue

– Orders are worked first come first served, however if I have more than 2 orders for the same item I will create them together as it is more time efficient for me to do so

– Remember I am a one woman artist/business and that each and every order is made by hand from raw materials one at a time and I do my very best to process each order as quickly as I can while also maintaining quality. Most made to order art jewelers have a 12 week minimum turnaround and this is a typical timeframe, so my own is not nearly as long.

– Please note that this is my full time job and I work on orders 7 days a week. I know how excited you are to receive your item and I do my best to get it to you as quickly as I can.

– With this said, your order may ship sooner 🙂

The product(s) you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product(s) being 100% handmade to order.

Care for your new product(s) by:

* Avoiding water while wearing- especially with base metals such as brass and copper to avoid skin discoloration

* Wear with caution – don’t do sports or chores, etc…

* Store unworn items in the bag and box the item came with

I always love creating new products from scratch if it is within my ability and time permits.

Custom orders can have a lengthier processing time.

I happily support and love my international customers.

I ship all International products through USPS

The Wicked Griffin is not responsible for duty or brokerage fees for international shipping. 

These charges come from your country during importation of your package.

Cost calculations

I do my best to apply fair shipping costs to each order. 

* I charge a low, flat shipping rate to be fair to all customers. $4.00 within USA and $12 for international

The Wicked Griffin is not responsible for lost or stolen mail. If you suspect your package has been stolen you must file a stolen mail report with your local post office and/or police department as mail theft is a felony crime. If you feel your package has been lost, please contact your local post office with the tracking number. In the instance of lost mail, there may be certain exceptions where I can help, please contact me for details.

RETURNS

My policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately I can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective. 

Custom Rune inscriptions:

If you do not provide me with the exact Runes you want for your piece, then I assume you trust my judgement. This means that no refunds will be given if you do not like the Runes for your inscription. This can be avoided by either providing me with the exact Runes you would like or discussing an inscription with me before purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to my error.

* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

– DUE TO THE NATURE OF DIGITAL ITEMS (HEXENWERK MAGAZINE, RUNE FLASH CARDS, ETC…) REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILBLE

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged

Exchanges (if applicable)

I only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send me an email at jacqueline@thewickedgriffin.com

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Measurements:

It is your responsibility to ensure that the measurements you give are accurate. Because of this I cannot refund due to size. I can do a replacement IF the item is not custom or personalized, you are responsible for shipping charges and returning the item.

If the design allows, I can re-size the piece on custom or personalized pieces.  Price will reflect the complexity of the piece and you are responsible for shipping charges.

Rings are USA sized and other measurements are in inches. Please feel free to contact me if you do not know your size or if you are not familiar with these measurements and I will convert them for you. Again, you are responsible for ensuring the measurements you give me are accurate.

Right to refuse service:

I have the right to refuse service by cancelling and refunding your order if you are abusive or choose to harass me in any way.

I have nothing but love and respect for my customers, however I have zero tolerance for harassment.

In addition to my zero tolerance for harassment policy, this also includes demeaning and hateful requests for custom orders. If I find it to be offensive to any culture, race or group of people, I shall take it upon myself to cancel and refund any order or deny custom requests. The Wicked Griffin loves and respects ALL cultures and will not be associated with hatred in any way.
