Shop Policies
By placing an order from The Wicked Griffin, you confirm that you understand and agree to these shop policies.
Order Timeline
Current 2026 production time before shipment
1–10 business days
Most items are handcrafted to order, in the order they are received. Production time is part of my shop policies and is acknowledged during checkout before placing an order.
Made-to-order items
Most handmade jewelry ships within 1–10 business days.
One-of-a-kind items
Ready-to-ship pieces usually ship within 1 business day, unless purchased with made-to-order items.
Tracking
Tracking is emailed once your order ships. Please allow up to 24 hours for updates to appear.
Production time may vary during sales, new collection launches, large orders, complex orders, and the busy November through January season. Duplicate items may be made together when it helps move the queue more efficiently.
The Wicked Griffin is a one-woman handmade jewelry studio. Each piece is made from raw materials one at a time, and I do my best to ship orders quickly without rushing the quality of your jewelry.
Your order may ship sooner.
Deadlines
If you need your order by a certain date, please contact me before purchasing to see if your deadline can be met.
Handmade Disclaimer
Your item may vary slightly from the photos due to the nature of handmade work. Small variations in finish, texture, color, stone appearance, and tiny details are part of the handmade process.
Care for your jewelry by:
- Avoiding water, especially with brass and copper pieces
- Removing jewelry before sports, chores, heavy work, or sleeping
- Storing unworn items in the bag or box they arrived in
Custom Orders
I love creating custom pieces when the request is within my ability and my schedule allows. Custom orders may require a longer processing time.
Please contact me before purchasing for a quote and estimated timeline.
Shipping
The Wicked Griffin ships through USPS. Shipping rates are kept as fair as possible and may vary based on location, order type, and current carrier costs.
The Wicked Griffin is not responsible for lost or stolen mail. If your package appears lost, please contact your local post office with your tracking number. If you believe your package was stolen, please file a stolen mail report with your local post office and/or police department.
International Shipping
International orders ship through USPS when available. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges required by their country.
Returns & Refunds
Returns may be accepted within 30 days of purchase. Items must be returned in their original condition.
Non-returnable items include:
- Personalized or customized items, unless they arrive defective
- Digital items, including magazines, flash cards, printables, and downloads
- Sale items, which are final sale
- Items damaged or altered for reasons not due to my error
Once a return is received and inspected, I will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Exchanges
Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items. If an exchange is approved, you are responsible for return shipping unless the issue was caused by my error.
If you are shipping an item over $75, please use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. I cannot guarantee that returned items will be received without tracking.
Measurements & Sizing
It is your responsibility to provide accurate measurements and sizing. I cannot refund an order due to incorrect sizing provided at checkout.
Rings are listed in US sizes, and other measurements are usually listed in inches. If you are unsure of your size or need help converting measurements, please contact me before purchasing.
If the design allows, some pieces may be resized or remade for an added cost. The price depends on the complexity of the piece, and the buyer is responsible for shipping charges.
Custom Rune Inscriptions
If you do not provide the exact runes you want, I will use my best judgment for the inscription. Refunds are not given because you dislike the rune choice after approving or leaving the decision to me.
To avoid confusion, please provide the exact runes you want or contact me before purchasing to discuss the inscription.
Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order if a customer is abusive, harassing, or disrespectful.
I also reserve the right to refuse custom requests that are hateful, demeaning, or offensive toward any culture, race, religion, identity, or group of people. The Wicked Griffin will not be associated with hatred in any way.
