This Jormungandr pendant has been crafted in solid sterling silver with an added brass backing and features the Midgaard serpent with a contrasting blackened finish. The pendant hangs on a 25 inch black deer leather or vegan-friendly black cotton cord.

Originally designed for my September, 2024 Jewelry of the Month Club members ️

Beneath the waves where darkness swirls,
Lies Jörmungandr, the world unfurls,
His body wraps the Earth in might,
A serpent bound in endless night.

With tail in mouth, his circle spins,
A thousand tales of loss and wins,
The oceans quake beneath his gaze,
The stars flicker in ancient haze.

Thor once fished him from the deep,
Where restless gods and giants sleep,
With every pull, the heavens strained,
As Thor and serpent, fate ordained.

But Ragnarok, the end draws near,
When Jörmungandr’s hiss we’ll hear,
The sea will boil, the skies will burn,
And gods will face their final turn.

Thor will strike, his hammer fall,
The serpent’s breath, a venomous call,
Both shall perish, hand in hand,
As chaos sweeps across the land.

Yet in his coil, a secret gleams,
Of endless life and shattered dreams,
For in his bite, the world’s rebirth,
Jörmungandr, encircling Earth.
