Fehu is the reconstruction from Old English Feoh, High German “Vieh”, and and Old West Norse fé deriving from PIE-root peḱu, meaning “livestock, cattle”. The Rune might actually originate from the Etruscan Alphabet.
Fehu is associated with cattle and wealth. Livestock, farming and wealth. Fehu is, in a way, the opposite of Uruz. While Uruz is wild, Fehu is tamed. Farming and having livestock meant wealth, survival and literally to stay alive. It’s the Rune associated with wealth and prosperity.
