SHEIN sellers stole my original ring designs and copied my product photos.

I reported the listings through SHEIN’s glitchy infringement portal, but received no confirmation, no case number, and the stolen listings stayed up.

Then Etsy removed my handmade Medusa ring after finding copies of it on SHEIN. Now I have to prove that I make my own ring, even though I have years of sales history, original photos, and video of me creating it.

The thief copied me, but my real listing was punished.

Artists and handmade sellers: document everything. Save your original files, process videos, dates, sales records, and screenshots.

This morning’s little gathering before they head off to their owners. ✨

Gemstone rings, rune rings, raven branch rings, a planchette ring, Cernunnos, Baba Yaga, Vinca symbols, a custom bind rune, Loki, Witch Bitch, a Vegvísir and labradorite clam shell locket, and a petroglyph bracelet are all getting packed up and sent on their way.

I always love seeing the mix of pieces that leave the studio together. A little folklore, a little witchcraft, a little old-world magic, and a whole lot of “this was made for someone very specific.”

Wyrd is often translated as "fate," but it's more like a web that's constantly being woven. Every choice you make, every action, every moment of courage or hesitation... it all adds to the pattern. The past shapes the present, and the present shapes what comes next.

She flies through the night in a mortar and pestle, sweeping away her tracks with a broom of silver birch. Her fence is made of human bones topped with glowing skulls. And yet... people still come to her door.

Because sometimes the scariest path is the only one that leads to the truth.

The Helm of Awe (Aegishjalmur) was a Viking stave believed to make the wearer unconquerable. Warriors would carve it between their brows before battle... not as decoration, but as armor for the spirit.

The Troll Cross was carried by Scandinavian folk to ward off dark forces. Two very different traditions, one shared belief: that the right symbol, worn close to the body, can shield you from what you can't see.

Locals say you can only spot one at twilight, and only if you're a little bit wild at heart.

What began as a night of caution, protection, and warding off spirits has become a celebration of spring, folklore, and community.

I love seeing how these old traditions still live on today, especially in the Harz Mountains with the costumes, parades, and eerie old magic still lingering in the air.

Walpurgisnacht, celebrated on the night of April 30, is the legendary “Night of the Witches” in German folklore, when witches were said to gather on mountaintops and dance around sacred fires to welcome the arrival of spring.
